You can have a great DAY OUT here and from here - Long Meg Stone Circle is just up the road, and you can walk along the River Eden past the mysterious Lacy's Caves and on to Dale Raven and Kirkoswald. We are 7 miles from the M6 J40, 2 miles from Langwathby Station on the scenic Settle-Carlisle railway line, and on the C2C coast to coast cycle route too.
